This 2008 holiday season, Wynonna will embark upon her 2nd annual Christmas tour in support of her critically acclaimed Top 10 Billboard Country album, A Classic Christmas, which not only garnered rave reviews in 2007, but also awarded her with her second Top 10 Billboard Christmas single. Music lovers around the world will have the opportunity to savor the blend of two of the most iconic voices of our time, Wynonna and The King of Rock ‘n Roll, as they reinvent an Elvis classic. Their sultry recording of "Santa Claus is Back in Town," which was released via SonyBMG Entertainment this fall, is titled "Elvis Presley Christmas Duets." When asked about the project, Wynonna enthusiastically replied, "People ask me if you had one choice of who to sing with…I always say Elvis, of course!" This is the first Elvis Presley duet recordings album and the first Christmas compilation of its kind ever produced. Another festive production inspired by our dedicated men and women in uniform, "Holiday Notes From Home: A Christmas Tribute for the Troops," starring Wynonna was filmed at the Grand Ole Opry House earlier this year. Her heartfelt performance is scheduled to air on the American Forces Radio & Television Service worldwide and will usher in the holiday spirit to military families across the country.
